I chose to photograph close-ups of foods because I've always been fond of trying to focus on detail and attempting my hand at macro work. I usually try to get as close as I can to my subject in order to obtain as much detail as I possibly can. I chose foods because they often have various textures, colors, and beautiful detailing to them so I wanted to be able to attempt to capture that beauty.
